Fish Out of Water, ranked by Florida Trend Magazine as one of the top 400 in the state. The BaitHouse, open seasonally, sits on Western Lake and recalls the atmosphere of the old fish camps found in NW Florida. The BeachClub, accessible by resort guests and homeowners only, offers stunning views of the gulf, an over-sized pool, and a great bar and grill. The WaterColor Market offers an eclectic menu of gourmet sandwiches, soups and salads.

WaterColor Tennis Center Perfect your tennis game at the WaterColor Tennis Center located on Western Lake Drive across from Cadmium Park, features a stadium court with five Har-Tru hydrogrid clay courts, including three that are lit for night play. It's surrounded by a grass-stepped terrace for the gallery and includes an on-site pro shop with tennis gear. Adult and junior clinics are held daily (except for Sundays), with an hour of court time per day included in your stay. Additional court time can be arranged as well as special multi-day packages for the true tennis enthusiast. Director John Morris has more than two decades of experience running resort programs and provides a variety of WaterColor tennis programs. Courts & Fees. 5 Har-Tru courts, 3 with lights. Court fees: None for guests of the WaterColor Inn or cottage renters. InnSpa As relaxing as the pleasure of warm coastal beach house hospitality. This collection of massage therapies restores circulation, eases muscle tension and enhances well being as you unwind under the perceptive, artful touch of our WaterColor's high skilled massage therapists. Just steps from Inn guest rooms and the sugar-white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, the InnSpa offers a totally indulgent experience - 'the art of rejuvenation' - designed to nourish the body inside and out. The Spa's personalized treatments have been thoughtfully created to convey a sense of comfort, nurturing, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Guests can indulge in an expansive menu of treatment options in either the spa itself or privately, in their own WaterColor Inn guest room or resort vacation rental home. Drawing from the warmth and intimacy of the WaterColor Inn's casual beach house feel, the InnSpa has a distinct personality. It offers a tranquil, intimate setting and highly effective treatments inspired by the surrounding elements of the sea - an understated kaleidoscope of coastal color, seaside textures, and the intoxicating smells and rhythms of the Gulf. Camp WaterColor Tailored to kids between the ages of 4 and 12, WaterColor's kids programs include daily adventures, nature lessons, arts, crafts, snorkeling, Scuba, fishing, pottery, plenty of laughter and lunch from WaterColor Market. All programs are supervised by qualified professionals and counselors who are trained in first aid and CPR certified. The main Camp WaterColor building features a craft and game room, a stage with a backlit projection system for movies and presentations, a large set of doors that open out to the amphitheater, and a stage for concerts, plays and other productions. The building also has showers and changing rooms leading out to the shallow wading area and water play area with pulsing water geysers. The pool also features lap lanes for more disciplined swimming. Kid's Night Out provides a fun-filled evening for kids while parents can enjoy a night out on their own. From 6-9 pm, Kid's Night Out includes dinner and activities for your child, from wienie roasts and beach bonfires to movies and story telling. Available Wednesday and Saturday nights during spring and summer season, Saturday nights only the rest of the year. Bike Trails, Parks and Gardens If you like to bicycle, jog, or hike, you can access a couple of the local parks by way of the Walton County Bicycle Trail that parallels Scenic Highway 30A. The trail extends from Dune-Allen Beach to Inlet Beach. Currently, half of the eighteen-mile trail is an 8' wide paved surface separated from the roadway that engagingly winds alongside woodlands and scrub and skirts coastal dune lakes. The Eastern Lake Bike Hike Trail accesses coastal sand pine scrub and longleaf pine flatwoods, circles around cypress ponds, wet prairies and Titi swamps, and gives visitors a real sense of the area's diverse habitats. This trail was established through the cooperative efforts of Beach to Bay Connection and the Florida Division of Forestry. WaterColor(r) is located in an area that has long been acknowledged for its striking natural beauty and diverse habitat. And the region is fortunate to have a number of recreational parks and conservation areas set aside and held in public trust. Adjacent all the water activity of Marina Park is an ample natural amphitheater where the community comes together for a number of open-air concerts, plays, and gatherings. Cerulean Park Parks are central to many Southern communities and are often associated with the most prominent public buildings, providing memorable structure. Cerulean Park is the 'heart' of the community and defines a long 'water axis' that connects Gulf to lake - uniting two distinct places together in a direct and powerful way. Community Gardens The path leads out of Cerulean Park toward Western Lake and penetrates a series of colorful and extensive demonstration gardens where the resident horticulturist and community gardeners provide helpful tips on general gardening concerns and can answer specific questions about the area's native flora. Crimson Park The gardens of Crimson Park are a great place for free play, informal gatherings, and open-air performances. Grayton Beach State Recreation Area This recreation area borders WaterColor, with Western Lake as a natural connector. A self-guided trail provides a wonderful hike around impressive 40' sand dunes and through pine flatwoods and coastal scrub. Lake District Parks Perched on a knoll overlooking Western Lake, Marina Park illustrates water's central place in the community. Here one discovers opportunities for water-related recreation from boating to swimming to fishing. Camp Creek Golf Club Test your skills at the Tom Fazio-designed Camp Creek Golf Club, recently rated by Golf Week as the 8th best daily fee play courses in Florida along with being named a top gold resort by The Golf Insider. Measuring 7,151 yards from the black tees, the 18-hole course is a true championship test spread out over 550 acres of land. Camp Creek Golf Club is located six miles east of the WaterColor community. Among the resources at Camp Creek are a short game area, pro shop, driving range, practice putting green, and snack bar. In the future, the plans are making way for a second 18-hole golf course as well as a central clubhouse. If the course proves too challenging or if you just want to brush up on your game, spring and summer clinics are available. Please call for availability and schedule. Resort shuttle service is provided to and from the course. Sturdy sliding wood doors provide access to the canoes, kayaks, and small sailing vessels housed there. Four small cupolas center on the boat storage bays and add an interesting dynamic to the structure, while allowing for natural light. Workshops are located on either end of the structure and provide water-related concessions, and boat rentals. Fishing licenses are required for those over 16 years old, which we'd be happy to help you obtain. BoatHouse on Western Lake Canoes, kayaks and sailboats are available from the BoatHouse, directly on the banks of Western Lake. The BoatHouse also features equipment rentals for fishing enthusiasts, including bait casters, spinning reels, Orvis(r) brand fly rods, lures, and fresh and frozen bait. The BoatHouse is also the place to find bicycles of all sizes, jogging strollers, bike trailers (two-kid capacity) and mountain bikes. BoatHouse staff will be happy to help out with maps and excursion information on the extensive woodland trail system within WaterColor(r). Western Lake's Marina Park also features an inviting lakeside pool.
